Jeff Vetter: Hi! I’m Jeff Vetter, GreenIvory’s CTO and I’m here to talk about ContentLC.
Tracey Cuffe: How does ContentLC work?
J.V.: ContentLC is an online publishing platform for magazines and newspapers. It’s designed to help publishers streamline the publishing process thanks to the ContentFactory. So, we start with a magazine and we import the content into the factory. Once on the factory, we can improve this content: add more information and rich media such as videos, soundtracks, images and so on.
Our central asset manager is accessible to multiple team members such as designers, editors, contributors and sales.
Before your content is published, you can review it on a Proof Site which is a private website for you and your team. After proofing, information flows are created and dispatched, depending on the needs, to one or several websites, called Satellite Sites.
During the publication, content flows can be enhanced with maps, weather information, ads and links. Eventually, your content can be relayed on social networks like Facebook, Twitter and others.
Of course, your Satellite Site will be responsive web design. It means that the display will offer an optimal viewing experience for any devices, such as tablets and smartphones.
T.C.: What makes ContentLC so innovative?
J.V.: ContentLC is our state of the art online publishing solution. It features all of our technologies and know-how.
When you’re buying ContentLC, you don’t just get a software solution but also the expertise resulting from 42 man-years of R&D.
T.C.: Why should publishers invest in a product like ContentLC?
J.V.: Thanks to smartphones and tablets, the Web is now everywhere. It cannot be ignored. This is a new medium full of opportunities for publishers.
With digital publishing and ContentLC, you can achieve at least four benefits:
- first, an increase online and mobile readership by naturally embedding responsive design ;
- then, more ad-driven revenue opportunities by increasing your visibility and reach on the Web ;
- also gain a competitive advantage by dramatically improving the user experience ;
- and finally, lower content production costs by automating the production process.
T.C.: What opportunities do you offer regarding advertising?
J.V.: ContentLC supports all advertisements: banners, ad blocks, pop-ups, rich-media, contextual, anything!
You can easily bring your own advertisers on the Web or even implement Google AdSense campaigns.
T.C.: How about a final word?
J.V.: ContentLC really is the future of publishing. It is modular and scalable to any type of publishing business.
But going digital doesn’t mean paper is dead. We believe that web media should be another way to address readers’ needs. The two are not only compatible but also more efficient when driven by a true digital strategy.
